The concept behind Platform-Power’s business model is to develop a personalized strategy that encourages community engagement, passion, consistency and trust that is affordable and manageable for any size business, budget or goal.
Aria began her career in higher education as an English teacher, writing coach and professor at Miami-Dade College, Florida International University, and Palm Beach Atlantic University, and worked on her writing with limited time, as a single parent. One day, hard work presented the opportunity of a lifetime to work alongside the infamous Literary Lion, Peter Miller as his personal assistant and Associate in the literary and film industry. After a year spent with Global Lion Intellectual Property Management, Inc. (previously PMA Literary & Film), she decided her unique experiences and professional background would best assist writers in helping them hands-on to navigate the ever changing pace of media and content development. Her vision is to secure a place for the highest quality literature and promote positive change, powerful influence and global impact. In January 2013, she founded Platform-Power, LLC in response to author needs.
In March 2013 she started the Game Changers Show on SeaView Radio, a local Radio station interviewing top authors, speakers, social media personalities who are changing the face of publishing.
In July 2013, she accepted Head of House to for No Frills & Amelia Press Florida, the 2nd publishing house in a nation-wide series of publishing franchises. Together, No Frills/Amelia Press and Platform-Power, LLC work with writers to get platform that engages community, and builds global branding and book distribution while maintaining full author rights.
In 2012 she was the former Palm Beach Word Weavers President. For the past 7 years she has held Presidency to Palm Beach’s ACW a National Writers Organization, writes monthly for various e- and print writer magazines. She has been featured by Writers Edge as a force changing the culture of publishing as a writing coach (July 2013). She is a nationally and internationally published author, curriculum writer for language communications, family and spirituality matters and their impact on relationships.
Aria graduated Summa Cum Laude from University of Miami with B.A.s in English Literature and Comparative Religious Studies. Her dual Masters in Health Law degrees (Risk Management//Regulatory Compliance) is from Nova Southeastern University. Her studies covered legal governance, ethics, rhetorical strategy, comparative religious studies, feminism, genetics, sociology, education, creative and business writing, and global cultural conflict resolution. She has published short stories in the USA and Canada, as well as executive produced and presented indie documentary films “Women and Immigration: A 20 year study” at St. Thomas University and “The Argument in Favor of Donor Rights in Blood Banking” at Nova Southeastern University.
She has served as a Motivational Speaker and Sales Trainer for Recruitment and Retention for State of Florida Juvenile Detention Center, Community Board Member for Kaplan University, Keiser Career and Keiser College, Academy for Practical Nursing, and Riviera Beach Community Coalition, Business Development Director, Community Blood Centers of South Florida, Community Liaison & Business Development Strategist for Palm Beach County Public School System, Headhunter & Assistant to Fortune 500 Executives, Future’s Consultants, Inc.
and consultant to various business and non-profit community organizations. Born and raised in Lorain, Ohio, she moved to Miami, Florida at the height of the 1980s drug and gang culture scene. The disparity between small town American and multicultural society ignited a passion for writing where language and opportunity conflicted for communications.
Today, Aria continues to consult businesses on how to meet the growing need for social media and community engagement. Her clients range from small businesses to the internationally connected.
